Al Zayani: The festival reflects the patriotism of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad

As per an invitation of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Festival mascot Kuhailan continued his series of visits arranged by the organizing committee to promote the side competition titled 'Shine', this time at Dohat Arad Park in Muharraq. Kuhailan's visit has attracted many visitors at the park, especially among boys and girls youngsters, who were keen to take souvenir photos with the mascot. The mascot, which descends from "Kuhailan Afas", a type of the finest Arabian horses and characterized by strength and hope. It's considered one of the most powerful types of horses for solidity and beauty, and personal interaction with children during the visit.

Dr Adel Khalifa Al Zayani , Chief Executive Officer of the Supreme Council for Environment, said the festival is one of the most unique and prominent racing sports in the region, which clearly aims to enable people with disabilities, praising the initiative of Shaikh Khalid to launch this festival. Dr Al Zayani also said the event reflects the extent of Shaikh Khalid for this category of people and providing all forms of support to them, which shows his humanitarian perception and reflects the unique national sense towards his brothers and sisters with special needs.

The organizing committee of the festival presented Kuhailan shield to Dr. Al Zayani in recognition to the initiative and efforts of the Supreme Council for Environment to hold this festival.
