Awareness & Education Programs

The Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) allocates special interest in environmental awareness and education programs, out of its belief in their importance in raising the level of environmental awareness and behavior among different social segments and contributing to the preservation of the environment and taking optimum advantage of its resources in a sustainable way.

The SCE’s Environmental Awareness and Culture Department holds environmental educational lectures, workshops, seminars and awareness programs on various issues of the environment.

The Supreme Council for the Environment welcomes all contributions to ensure the success of all environmental awareness programs. For that reason, the SCE recommends those wishing to hold such programs to contact its specialists, and send requests as follows:

  • Sending a letter to the Directorate of International Relations and Media at the SCE in which the type, subject and date of the event is determined.
  • If the request is approved, the application will be forwarded to Environmental Awareness and Culture Department to follow up on the holding of the event.
  • A specialist will be tasked with contacting the applicant to coordinate on organizing and holding the event.
  • If the application is rejected, the applicant will be contacted and given the reasons.
